Simple Outdoor, Amazon Finds You’ll Love!
If your porch or patio has been a little neglected lately—or you’re just craving a cozy spot to sip something cold while the kids play—this is a great time to freshen things up without spending a fortune.
Amazon’s Prime Day deals are here, and I’ve been browsing for things that are both pretty and practical—simple additions that make your outdoor space feel peaceful and pulled together, not cluttered. I’ve tried to find some of the best deals this week so that you don’t have to spend hours looking!

I’m not one for over-decorating – although I am not a minimalist at all, haha. I try to be thoughtful about what I buy whether it’s to decorate my home or help me serve my family better. And because clutter outside counts too, it’s important to think about what you actually need or want that will be used and worth the purchase – and worth it taking up space in or around your home.
A few well-chosen touches can really make your space more inviting, especially in the evenings when the day starts to slow down.
Feeding the Birds Brings Joy to Your Day
Okay, now something you may not know about me – I love birds. I collect bird field guides, and when my kids were growing up (we homeschooled) we used to watch birds a lot and would identify new birds in our field guides. I still love to watch the birds in my yard and I’ve been known to stop the car (more than once) just so I can try and get a picture of a Blue Heron.
I’ve always had lots of bird feeders – and unfortunately, right now, I’m down to just one. I had to throw some out that had just seen better days this year so I have several bird feeders on my wishlist!

Birdwatching Smart Feeder with Camera
Okay, this one is definitely on my wish list! I think these bird feeders with cameras are so cool! If you love birdwatching but want a closer look without scaring the birds off, this smart feeder is such a fun upgrade. It has a built-in camera that automatically takes photos and videos of your feathered visitors—and even uses AI to help identify the species.
You can check in from your phone anytime, so even if you’re inside folding laundry, you won’t miss a visit from a cardinal or blue jay. It’s solar-powered, holds a good amount of seed, and this would just be so much fun!! It’s a great gift idea too!
Glass Hummingbird Feeder for Outdoors Hanging
This one is so pretty! The hand-blown glass adds charm during the day, and at night it glows softly thanks to the built-in solar light. If you love watching hummingbirds in the early morning or at dusk, this is such a lovely little addition to the yard or garden. It’s one of those details that makes you smile every time you walk by.
Nature Anywhere Window Bird Feeder with Sliding Tray
This is one of those simple things that adds so much joy to your everyday life—especially if you love birds or have little ones at home. This clear acrylic window feeder suctions right to the glass so you can watch birds up close from the kitchen table, your desk, or even while you’re washing dishes. It’s great for small spaces or apartment living, too—no yard required!
This window feeder was always one of our favorites! It gave me and the kids so much joy everyday to watch the bird up close – right from our dining room window!

North States Village Collection Green Barn Birdfeeder
This is the bird feeder I currently have. My husband brought it home to me last year. It looks like a little Green Barn (John Deere green no less) and adds a fun bit of character to our yard. It holds plenty of seed and is easy to refill. I’ve had birds flocking to it since the day I put it up.
Easy Ways to Elevate Your Outdoor Style
MWaterproof Solar Deck Lights (16-pack)
If you’ve been wanting to add lighting to your steps, fence, or porch railing, these are such a simple fix. They’re solar-powered, renter-friendly, and easy to install—no cords or outlets needed. These would be a great way to make your outdoor space feel cozier without a big project.
Outdoor String Lights (48ft, Dimmable & Shatterproof)
These are the string lights I’d grab if you want that warm, cozy glow outside without worrying about glass bulbs or finicky wires. We have string lights like this we’re planning to hang up this summer in our picnic area (it’s in our front yard).
They’re dimmable, shatterproof (great if you’ve got kids or pets running around), and weatherproof enough to leave up all season long. I love how easy it is to string them across a porch, pergola, or even a fence to make your outdoor space feel more welcoming in the evenings. We’re planning to make buckets with stands to hang ours on.

Whiskey Barrel Planters with Drainage Holes & Saucer
If you love that old-fashioned, cottage-style charm, these whiskey barrel planters are such a sweet addition to your garden or front porch. They have that vintage wine barrel look (without the weight!). They’re lightweight, too, which makes it easy to move them around, even when they’re full.
Some of my favorite memories have been made in our front yard. We have two picnic tables out there and over the last 22 years of living in this home we’ve spent many days with family gathered around those tables outside to eat, talk, laugh, and just hang out while the kids played in the yard.
Your outdoor spaces are an extension of your home, and you can use the space in so many ways to minister to your family and friends through the art of hospitality.
And you don’t need a big patio or fancy furniture to make it feel lovely. Just a few thoughtful touches can completely change how a space feels. So if it’s in your budget and you’ve been wanting to spruce things up a bit, these Prime Day deals are a good opportunity. Buy what’s useful, beautiful, and in your budget.
If you love homemaking ideas that are grounded, thoughtful, and full of grace—not perfection—I’d love to have you join me inside The Homemaker’s Society. It’s where I share seasonal routines, encouragement, and practical tools to help you create a home you love coming back to.
And if you end up grabbing any of these outdoor finds, I’d love to hear how you use them!
