The 25 Day Advent Calendar

This year why not enjoy the Advent season with Scripture readings on the birth, the life, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

Each of these twenty-five sweet cards has the prophecy regarding the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ followed by the fulfillment of each prophecy found in Scripture for you to read together as a family. Here’s a sneak peek at what the cards look like:

Perfect for family worship in the morning or evening, you can print the cards onto card stock. Cut out each card just outside the red line so you can see the border. Laminate if desired. You can punch a hole in the corner of the laminated cards and place on a book ring or ribbon.

Ways You Can Use These Advent Scripture Cards

These Advent cards are not only perfect for daily family worship but can also be used in creative and meaningful ways throughout the season:

  1. Christmas Countdown: Clip the cards onto a string or garland and hang them as a decorative Advent calendar. Each day, remove a card and reflect on its Scripture.
  2. Tabletop Devotions: Place a card at the family dinner table each evening as a conversation starter, allowing everyone to share their thoughts on the day’s Scripture.
  3. Gift Tags with a Message: Attach a card to wrapped gifts or holiday treats, spreading the joy of God’s promises to friends, neighbors, or church members. (print them at a smaller scale)
  4. Ornament Keepsakes: Punch a hole in each card and hang them on your Christmas tree as ornaments, creating a visual reminder of the Advent season. (print them at a smaller scale)
  5. Children’s Church Activity: Use the cards in children’s church or Sunday School or Sabbath School as a fun way to teach about the prophecies of Christ and their fulfillment.
  6. Personal Journal Prompts: Incorporate the daily Scriptures into your quiet time, journaling reflections on how God’s promises impact your faith journey.

These versatile cards can bring the message of Christ’s love into your home, your community, and your heart this holiday season.

I would love the advent cards!! We have an advent book calendar, but it is decidedly secular. I would like to add one of these cards into the book slot for us to do/read as the real advent portion, leaving the book as a fun little gift!!
