OOTD: Shopping and Lunch in Southampton, New York

Laura and I spent the past week in New York City for her spring break. Can I just tell you that the fact that Laura still wants to take a trip with me for spring break now that she’s in college makes me so happy!

This was our fourth visit to New York and our third visit to the Hamptons. On Tuesday we drove over to Southampton, NY and spent the afternoon perusing the shops (a number of them were closed for the season sadly) and we ate lunch at the Hampton Coffee Shop.

I wore one of my favorite casual outfits. This American Flag sweater is iconic and a staple piece that will never go out of style! We went over to the park in Southampton to look out over the water later in the day and there was another lady wearing the same sweater and she said to me, “I love your sweater!” haha.

The Ralph Lauren sweater I’m wearing is a little on the pricey side, so I’ve linked some other options on my LTK post too! For reference, I’m 5’6″ and wearing a size 29 in these Levi jeans (I weigh about 135 pounds) and I’m wearing a medium in the sweater. I first took Laura to the Hamptons in July 2023 – that was our second visit to New York, but our first visit out to the Hamptons. A lot of the stores were closed for the season this time around, but we still found some nice shops to peruse.
