Random Acts of Kindness for Kids

Teaching your kids to be kind is one of the most important responsibilities you have as a mom. Today I’m sharing a list of random acts of kindness for kids that you can print.

I’m always so proud when I witness my kids being kind to others, it blesses my heart. I want my kids to be the kind of people who are thoughtful, kind, compassionate, and inclusive.

As parents, it’s easy to get so caught up in the day to day busyness of life that we forget that teaching our children how to be kind, how to feel empathy, and how to bless someone else without expectation of anything in return is one of the most important things we can do.

It really begins with you.

Our kids see how we treat others and they implement what they see. Are you kind? Do you show kindness to your child? Are you empathetic to their needs?

Kindness, compassion, and gentleness are all learned behaviors. Let them see you do it first. Use opportunities whenever they present themselves to teach your child how to be kind.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness.” Proverbs 31:26 NKJV

Remember, the Proverbs 31 woman has the law of kindness on her tongue. How you speak to your children makes a huge impact on them. Training your kids to be kind is, of course, something you must strive to do on a daily basis for all of their growing up years.

“Love is patient and kind.” (1 Corinthians 13:4) Being kind is living out the gospel. Kids need to know that the things they do, the things they say have an impact on the people – on the world – around them.

Kids can be so mean. Let kindness be the norm in your home so that when they go out, they extend that kindness to others!

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.
