In my opinion, cozy homemaking makes life feel richer. And I’m not talking about money or expensive belongings. I’m talking about richness in feelings of peace, joy, and love. As a homemaker I have the power to create a sweet and warm atmosphere in my home and cozy homemaking is one way to do that.

How do people feel when they enter your home? How does your family feel? Do they enjoy the sights and sounds and smells in your home? Do they enjoy the feeling of warmth and love that a freshly made bed brings? Do you give them the opportunity to feel loved when you make their favorite meal?

You have so much power in your home to create all of these wonderful and good feelings!

Homemaking is a beautiful ministry that you offer your family and all who enter your home. I think when we begin to look at our role as a homemaker in the light of serving and ministering to those who enter our home, our hearts begin to change.

Homemaking is a way for you to show the love of Jesus to your family every single day!
