November 2026 Homemaker’s Notebook + Free Printable
By the time November comes around, the windows have been washed, the flannel sheets are on the beds, and the calendar on the kitchen wall is starting to fill up with names. The November Homemaker’s Notebook is here to help you finish the cleaning you started in October and then turn your attention to the best part of this whole season: the people who gather around your table.
If your family walked through the front door tonight, would you be ready to pull up a few more chairs, or would you be scrambling to clear off the table first?

I’ve been reading in Acts 2 this week, where the early believers broke bread together from house to house and ate their meals with glad and simple hearts. I love that it doesn’t say they had the nicest dishes or the biggest dining rooms. It says they were glad. They opened their doors, they shared what they had, and the Lord used those ordinary tables to build His church.
That’s the heart of our theme this month at The Homemaker’s Society: The Gathered Home.
Last month we spent our energy cleaning our homes down to the corners, and some of you have been scrubbing right along with me every single weekday. (I see you, and I’m so proud of you.) We still have riughly two weeks left in the 30 Day Challenge: A Time to Clean, and we’re going to finish strong. The challenge wraps up on Friday, November 13, and then on Monday, November 16, we’ll turn the page and start gathering.
I’m not talking about the magazine kind of hospitality, where every napkin is folded into a swan and the centerpiece costs more than the groceries. I mean the real kind. A pot of soup on the stove, a stack of mismatched plates, the kids’ table squeezed in by the kitchen door, and everybody you love under one roof for a few hours.
After more than thirty-five years of keeping house, I can tell you that a gathered home isn’t really about the house at all. It’s about making room. Room in your schedule, room at your table, and room in your heart for the people God has put in your life. A clean house helps (it really does), but the house is only there to serve the people in it. (And I can safely say that hosting people when your house isn’t perfect or perfectly clean is okay!)
That’s what I want for my home this November. I want to finish the cleaning, set the table, and then actually sit down at it. When my grown children and grandchildren come through the door, I want to be in the kitchen laughing with them, not hiding in the guest room shoving laundry in the closet. If you’ve been feeling that same pull, this month’s notebook, printables, and community are all pointing toward a home that’s ready to welcome your favorite people.
What Is the Homemaker’s Notebook?
The Homemaker’s Notebook is a monthly printable planner designed to help you care for your home with more intention.
It includes practical pages for planning, homemaking, routines, and personal reflection, all in one place. Print the whole notebook or just the pages you know you’ll actually use. Slip them into a binder, tuck them in a folder, or use them however works best for your season of life.
This is meant to be helpful, not overwhelming.
What’s Inside the November 2026 Homemaker’s Notebook
The November notebook includes the same practical planning pages you’ve come to expect, with a warm, harvest-table feel built for finishing your fall cleaning and opening your door to family and friends.
Inside you’ll find:
- A November 2026 monthly calendar two-page spread
- A monthly tending list with space for top priorities, homemaking tasks, personal goals, and weekly action items
- A gratitude journal page
- A SOAP Bible study page
- Bible study notes pages
- Sermon notes pages
- A daily agenda page
- Dated weekly prep pages
- Weekly planning pages with daily homemaking tasks, a habit tracker, weekly chores, and morning, afternoon, and evening routines
It’s a simple set of tools, and I’ve found over the years that simple tools are usually the ones we keep using.
Here’s My Suggested Schedule for the Month
You do not need to use every page, but you certainly can. Print what fits your life right now and leave the rest.
Week 1: Dining Areas and Entryways (November 2–6). These are the first rooms your guests will see and the rooms where you’ll spend the most time together this month, so it’s the perfect week to give them a good cleaning. Wipe down the table and chairs, clear off whatever has been piling up on the dining room hutch, and make the front entry a place where coats and boots have somewhere to go.
Week 2: Kids’ Rooms and the Finish Line (November 9–13). We end the challenge where little ones spend their days. Sort out the toys that are broken or outgrown, wash the bedding, and get the kids involved as much as their ages allow. When Friday comes, take a slow walk through the whole house and thank the Lord for every room you’ve cared for.
Week 3: Make Room at the Table (November 16–20). This is where The Gathered Home begins. Use your Monthly Tending List to write down who you’d like to have over this month, whether it’s the whole family for Thanksgiving or one young mama from church for coffee. Count your chairs, your dishes, and your table linens now, so you aren’t discovering a missing gravy boat at the last minute.
Week 4: Thanksgiving Week (November 23–27). Do as much as you can early in the week, like setting the table the night before, chopping vegetables, and making the desserts ahead. Then on Thursday, put down the to-do list and enjoy your people. Use your gratitude page to write down a few things you’re thankful for before the day gets busy, and maybe even ask everyone at the table to share one too.
November fills up fast with church dinners, school programs, and holiday shopping, so a little bit of planning will help you walk into Thanksgiving with a clean house and a calm heart instead of a frazzled one.
One of the things I love most about this community is knowing that while I’m setting my table this month, women all over the country are setting theirs too. Hospitality can feel like a lot of pressure sometimes, but it doesn’t feel so heavy when you’re doing it alongside friends who understand.
A Good Month to Open the Door
November is such a good month to practice hospitality, because nearly everyone is already thinking about gathering. You don’t have to wait until your house is perfect or your dining room is bigger. If you have a table and a pot of something warm, you have enough to welcome someone in.
This is also a good month to be honest with yourself about what you can manage. Maybe you’re hosting twenty people for Thanksgiving. Maybe you’re bringing a pie to someone else’s house, and that’s perfectly fine too. But don’t let a busy season talk you out of opening your door at all. Pick one gathering, plan it well, and do it. You can do this, and the people around your table will remember the welcome long after they’ve forgotten what was on the menu.
Printing Tips
I always think printables are more enjoyable to use when they’re printed clearly and on good paper. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but nice supplies make a real difference if you print often.
My Favorite Printer: Epson EcoTank ET-3760 Wireless Color All-in-One Supertank Printer — worth every penny if you print at home regularly. This is the one I own and use every day!
My Favorite Paper: The nicest all-purpose paper I’ve found. Makes printables feel crisp and clean every time.
